moscow subway explosion - At this point, the explanation of the explosion is unknown, but suicide bombing is being investigated. Both stations are experiencing a high volume of passengers at the time of the explosions because of the morning rush hour.
This is not the first time Moscow has had a terrible news of the terrorist underground. Although the subway is still a popular form of transport in the area, many attacks have occurred in recent years. In February 2004, a suicide bomber detonated two bombs during the morning rush hour on the Moscow metro. Those bombs killed 42 and injured 250. Over 700 people were evacuated during the explosion.
